The Ghosts of St Mary’s Abbey, York

Built by the Benedictine order in the 13th century, St Mary’s Abbey enjoyed great wealth and power... that was until the arrival of Henry VIII. The dissolution of the monasteries was to leave the abbey in ruins, but rumour has it that a ghostly resident remains.
